Medical Insurance

Mindful Wellbeing is in network with the following providers:

∙ Minnesota Medicaid (MA)

∙ Preferred One

∙ Aetna

∙ Blue Cross Blue Shield

∙ UCare

∙ Medica

∙ United Healthcare

∙ HealthPartners / Cigna

∙ Hennepin Health

Please know insurance requires an individual to have a mental health diagnosis to qualify for reimbursement. Additionally, many people with high deductible plans find that they are fully responsible for their therapy for many sessions and that a self-pay rate is sometimes a cheaper option.

EMDR Intensives

Self-Pay* Only

$180 / hr of EMDR Services

Note: A non-refundable deposit will be required on the day that you schedule your intensive with the remainder of the balance due on the first day of service for the intensive. EMDR intensives are private pay due to limitations with insurance which does not presently allow for services to be provided in this manner in an outpatient setting. However, for some people it can work better to intensely focus on resolving their distress rather than meeting once or twice weekly to try to move through it.

To learn more visit our page about EMDR Intensives.

Groups & Workshops

Groups have specific rates based on frequency and length of session. Visit our groups page to learn more.

**Good Faith Estimates for Self Pay and Out of Network Clients

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” (GFE) explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the law, 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers are required to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. Make sure your health care provider gives you a GFE in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a GFE before you schedule an item or service. You have the right to receive a GFE for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

The GFE shows the costs of items and services that are reasonably expected for services provided by Mindful Wellbeing. The estimate is based on information known at the time the estimate was created. It does not take into account any reimbursement that you may receive as a result of out of network benefits.

The GFE does not include any unknown or unexpected costs that may arise during treatment. You could be charged more if complications or  special circumstances occur.  If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. You may contact Mandy Wannarka, Owner of Mindful Wellbeing, to let her know the billed charges are higher than the Good Faith Estimate.
