Poly/Kink/Ethical Non-monogamy
Now accepting in-person and virtual therapy clients in Minnesota
At Mindful Wellbeing, we believe that everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued in their relationships and sexuality. If you're seeking support as a member of the poly, kink, or ethical non-monogamy communities, we're here to help you navigate your journey with compassion, understanding, and empowerment.
Our clinic values authenticity, and it follows that we believe a person's sexual and relational activities should be true to themselves. There is no "one size fits all" approach to human relationships and sexual desire. We collaborate with our clients to find out what they believe is their best possible path, and we are supportive of having different paths at different times in life.
Our Clinic’s Understanding of Polyamory, Kink, and Ethical Non-Monogamy:
Mindful Wellbeing has the stance that polyamory, kink, and ethical non-monogamy are often misunderstood. Maintaining multiple partnerships, engaging in kink, and practicing ethical non-monogamy are generally seen by our staff as reflections of thoughts and feelings that are given as much time and significance as others put towards more conventional relationships and/or sex lives. Our clinic strives to understand the motivations and emotional reasons an individual has for their sexual and relational practices, with the emphasis being on what fits an individual's needs best.
